Case Studies

Our commercial paving services will transform your company’s external landscape with attractive and durable paving materials. We have installed thousands of square metres of block paving, asphalt and decorative paving in car parks, open spaces and pathways for businesses and institutions across East Anglia.

Surrey Street - Student Accommodation

As well as ground level works on this site, this was a roof level terrace. Slabs were laid on raised pedestals over a flat roof to provide additional social space for residents. All materials were craned up to height and fitted in situ.

Blackdale Development - University of East Anglia

We were commissioned to resurface external areas around a brand new student development, providing stylish and resilient surfaces for students to socialise and travel between sections of the complex. We worked alongside other companies to coordinate the works to ensure all works were completed on time and to an exceptional standard.

Halesworth and Mildenhall Cycle Paths

Building a new cyclepath through Millennium Green in Halesworth was never going to be a small job – but anything is possible, and we knew we had not only the paving expertise but also that we could call on suppliers and subcontractors we knew and trusted.
With any project of this scale, you have to deal with loads of different organisations, and the logistics of liaising with Network Rail, the Environment Agency, Sustrans and UK Power Networks weren’t exactly straightforward but we brought it all together.
And then of course there’s the landscape itself: getting a huge digger on to a flood plain in January was fun. We also had to cross two rivers, which included having an army bridge craned in so we could then build bridge abutments for the finished cycleway.
We’re so proud of this project and the trust and relationships we built during its construction, which are fitting for a community project of this scale.

Following our successful work on the cyclepath in Halesworth, Suffolk County Council awarded us the contract for a similar project in Mildenhall. The concrete path follows the route of an existing bridleway and links the village of West Row with Mildenhall itself. As part of National Cycle Route 1, the path not only benefits Mildenhall but is also a vital link in a route that links the south coast of England with Edinburgh.
